Revival

Harsh winds blowing from the East,
Herald snow, a Winter's feast,
Of lightly falling silver flakes,
Ceaseless, dropping 'til it makes,
A snowy blanket all around,
Keeping warm infertile ground,
'Til Spring arrives, when once again,
Comes shining sun and gentle rain,
Bringing life to this steadfast scene,
Draping her in mantle green.
